Born and raised in Northern Minnesota, Ben began blowing glass in 2006 while attending the University of Minnesota Duluth. He graduated with a degree in marketing and began working with glass full-time in Fall 2009. His degree in business allows him to spend less time running a business and more time behind the torch. Ben combines sculptural techniques with textures resulting in glass art that rarely resembles glass. He is constantly striving to take his art to the next level by combining as many different techniques as possible.
